In the context of EMPC’s commitment to actively participate in major regional and international media events and forums, the city is participating with an official delegation in the Saudi Media Forum, held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, from February 2 - 4, under the slogan “Media in an Evolving World”, in addition to its participation, with a booth, in the accompanying exhibition, “The Future of Media Exhibition – FOMEX”.
Through its distinguished pavilion, EMPC showcases a comprehensive range of advanced media services, including studios equipped with the latest global technologies, and back lots that meet the requirements of cinema and drama production. That’s in addition to training and professional development programs aimed at qualifying media cadres according to the highest professional standards, and specialized academic programs offered through the International Academy of Engineering and Media Sciences (IAEMS).
EMPC also provides advanced services in the field of restoration and preservation of the audio-visual heritage, as part of its role in preserving media and cultural memory, and maintaining archival content according to the latest systems and technologies.
This participation comes in context of the remarkable development and continuous growth witnessed in media relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently, supported by the advanced media infrastructure possessed by the two brotherly countries. This infrastructure includes modern studios, major media platforms, satellites, and filming locations that rival their counterparts globally, especially in the light of the existing state of harmony and integration between the two countries in many political, economic, cultural and media fields
EMPC pavilion witnessed a wide turnout of visitors, specialists and content creators, who expressed their admiration for the integrated capabilities and professional services offered by the city, and its pivotal role in supporting and developing the media industry at the regional and international levels.
