As EMPC aims at strengthening relations with major international and regional institutions, opening new horizons for joint cooperation and exchanging expertise in the fields of media in all its branches by developing special training programs for media cadres in these institutions its training center, Upskill.

In this context, EMPC received a delegation representing the Media and Communication Sector of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), comprising of 18 members to begin an intensive training program in partnership with the Abdulaziz Saud Al- Babtain Cultural Foundation in various media fields, including directing, photography and editing, in a way that ensures achieving the maximum benefit from the expertise and capabilities that EMPC possesses, to create highly trained media cadres, in both the practical and theoretical aspects. These cadres will possess state-of-the-art technical tools through which they can keep pace with the great development that the media is currently witnessing.

The training program will last for 10 days at EMPC, close to the studios and channels broadcasting in the city. This is considered one of the cons offered by the Upskill Training Center, as it is located inside EMPC, the matter that might not be available in other training centers, thus achieving maximum benefit from the availability of both the theoretical and practical aspects of this training program.

In this regard, Dr. Amani Farouk, Director of Upskill, highlighted the most important features of the training program prepared for the delegation, and reviewed the program objectives in developing the media skills, especially since the Upskill Training Center provides the opportunity for the trainees to exploit all EMPC amenities and capabilities from studios, technical centers and state-of-the-art equipment, devices and cameras, to training in a real environment that qualifies them to practice work in the media market with the highest levels of efficiency.

It is noteworthy to mention that the delegation has watched a documentary highlighting the stages of development witnessed by EMPC, its amenities and studios via which the most famous Egyptian and Arab satellite channels broadcast their content, as well as the backlots which have various architectural styles, in addition to the technical centres located there.
