H.E Faisal Al-Shaboul, Jordanian
State Minister of Information and the official spokesman for the Jordanian
government, praised EMPC amenities and its state-of-the-art technical centers which
are comparable to those in advanced European countries. This came during his
visit to EMPC today, accompanied by Mr. Muhammad Balkar, Director General of
Jordanian Radio and Television.
During the
visit, Al-Shaboul was received by Abdel Fattah Al-Gibali, EMPC Chairman of the Board
and a number of its officials. Al-Shboul expressed his happiness at visiting
this huge media edifice, expressing his hope for cooperation and exchange of
experiences between the two sides in the various fields of media, especially in
the field of training media and technical cadres, to benefit from the EMPC’s state-of-the-art
technical capabilities and human expertise.
For his part,
Abdel Fattah Al-Gibali, EMPC Chairman of the Board, welcomed the guest
minister, stressing the depth of the historical relations between Egypt and
Jordan at the popular and official levels in various fields. Al-Gibali confirmed that EMPC is ready to provide
all facilities and amenities it has to our brothers in Jordan, especially in
the field of training media cadres and exchanging media visits between the two countries.
Al-Gibali
accompanied the Jordanian Minister on a tour to have a look at EMPC amenities
and its studios, where they saw the outdoor shooting areas, and the current
construction works of the various decorations that are taking place in full
swing, in preparation for the shooting of Ramadan’s series. They also visited
the Cinema Restoration Center, which is the first of its kind in the Middle
East that preserves the documentary audio-visual heritage and protects it from
damage and age. There, the guests listened to the center supervisors’ lecture
about the stages of films restoration. Then, the minister inspected the Dolby
Atmos studio, in which the latest sound technologies in the world are applied
and approved by Dolby International Company.
Al-Shaboul also
visited EMPC training and development center UP SKILL, where he inspected its
various lecture rooms and got acquainted with the most important training
programs offered by the center.
At the end of
the visit, El-Gibali escorted the guest minister to take a tour inside DMC
studios, which are the largest in the city, during which they were received by
the journalist writer Mahmoud Musalam, head of the DMC channel network, who
welcomed the minister and his companions and took them on a tour around the
network's studios. They had a friendly dialogue about the distinguished
Egyptian-Jordanian relations in many fields, especially the media.
It is noteworthy to mention that the Jordanian Minister’s visit to EMPC comes on
the sidelines of his participation in the meetings of the Council of Arab
Information Ministers hosted by Cairo from 20th to 22nd September
2022.
