Mr. Abdel Fattah Al-Gibali, EMPC Chairman of the Board, Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and in the presence of a number of the Academy’s professors and EMPC officials, signed a cooperation protocol. The protocol aims at enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two sides in the media fields and exchanging specialized experiences of common interest in a way that consolidates the relations between the two sides and ensures the achievement of the highest levels of performance.
This comes in the context of EMPC’s plan that
aims at expanding media training activities in its various branches for
Egyptian and Arab students from all academies, universities and scientific
institutes, through the EMPC’s Up Skill Training and Development Center, in
order to contribute to the creation of trained media cadres who possess modern
scientific tools. The protocol stipulates the establishment of training courses
at EMPC for the Academy's students in various fields of media industry,
including directing, cinematography, studio engineering, communications
engineering, and management of media institutions.
Al-Gibali welcomed Dr. Ismail Abdel
Ghaffar, President of the Academy, the great scientific and academic value and the
Academy’s professors, this great Arab scientific forum, stressing the
importance of signing this protocol with the Arab Academy, considering training
as the backbone of any facility and an important part in most institutions
operating in Egypt. He referred to the great efforts made by Dr. Ismail Abdel
Ghaffar and the Academy’s officials, which placed it in this great scientific
position, as one of the most important scientific institutions in our Arab
region which plays a major role in promoting Arab belonging and consolidating
brotherly bonds among the Arab youth.
Al-Gibali stressed EMPC’s full readiness to
offer all possible facilities and amenities that contribute to achieving the
maximum benefit from the training of the Academy's students at EMPC, adding
that the protocol is a promising start on which we place great hopes for
further cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two sides.
For his part, Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar,
President of the Academy, thanked EMPC Chairman of the Board for this
cooperation, represented in signing the training protocol, considering EMPC a
great and distinguished Egyptian edifice, of which we are all proud in our Arab
region. He pointed out that the protocol is a strong addition, in the field of
training for the Academy students to link the product with the labor market,
especially with the huge boom that the world is currently witnessing in the
field of digitization, and the start of the fifth industrial revolution.
The President of the Academy expressed his
pride at EMPC’s technological capabilities, and thanked the colleagues for
their unlimited support to the Academy's students. At the end of the protocol
signing ceremony, the two sides exchanged the gifts of both, EMPC and the Academy.
