H.E Dr. Ramzan Bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, the Bahraini Minister of Information, praised the technical and artistic capabilities of the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC), including its technical centers, which are comparable to international ones, and state-of-the-art studios, describing EMPC as a great media edifice of which every Arab is proud.
Engineer Ziad Al Makari, Lebanese Minister of Information, emphasized the historical relations that unite Egypt and Lebanon and the peculiarity of the relationship between the two brotherly peoples, pointing out that these relations are distinguished in many fields, whether cultural, media and political.
H.E Faisal Al-Shaboul, Jordanian State Minister of Information and the official spokesman for the Jordanian government, praised EMPC amenities and its state-of-the-art technical centers which are comparable to those in advanced European countries. This came during his visit to EMPC today, accompanied by Mr. Muhammad Balkar, Director General of Jordanian Radio and Television.
Mr. Abdel Fattah Al-Gibali, EMPC Chairman of the Board, Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and in the presence of a number of the Academy’s professors and EMPC officials, signed a cooperation protocol. The protocol aims at enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two sides in the media fields and exchanging specialized experiences of common interest in a way that consolidates the relations between the two sides
Stars of the American movie "A Day to Die" Leon Robinson, Brooke Butler, director Wes Miller and the Egyptian actor Mohamed Karim, also acting in the movie, had a tour at the Egyptian Media Production City company (EMPC) to see its technical and technological facilities, and its most important filming locations which included the outdoor shooting areas.
The International director Neil Burger has finished shooting his latest movie in cooperation with the American production company Miramax. A large part of the movie was shot, from the 15th - 23rd July, in many locations and tourist attractions in Cairo and Giza governorates, including the Pyramids plateau, Khan El Khalili, Zamalek area, downtown streets, Cairo Airport, and one of Greater Cairo hotels.
I call on UNESCO to allocate a prize for the projects that save the audiovisual heritage in the world

Al-Muzaini expressed his happiness, with the completion of the digitization of the Egyptian Cinema newspaper issues, through EMPC Center for the Restoration of Audiovisual Heritage.

In the context of EMPC willingness to strengthen cooperation and friendship with Saudi universities and institutions and in order to enhance the strategic relationship between Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) and Effat University signed a cooperation protocol, according to which the university could exploit EMPC expertise, as it is the largest media edifice in the Arab region.
