These are the backbone of any art production. Although they may well vary in range, they are indispensable for facilitating implementation of production plans, given that time is money.In EMPC, there are many such services both on in-door shooting sets and in out-door locations. These include:

THE WORKSHOPS

  • Mechanical carpentry.
  • Accessories and furnishings.
  • Decoration carpentry, e.g. doors, windows, etc..

  • Upholstery and drapes.
  • Gypsum, foam and other formations

LABOUR

EMPC has an unmatched group of set decorators, set designers, painters as well as other technicians. Specialized high quality labour is also available in all fields at competitive rates, e.g. carpenters, painters, upholsters and others.

ACCESSORIES

EMPC offers all kinds of high-quality accessories and furnishings, in whatever amounts needed for lease to producers.

STORAGE AREAS

Decorations are stored in easy-to-access places, for lease to producers to save both time and money.

TECHNICAL SERVICES

• There is a 100 Mega Volt Ampere power plant that supplies EMPC complex A studios with electricity. As for Complexes (B, C, D, E, F), the Magic Land, the outdoor shooting areas and the technical centers, they are catered by 30 sub power plants. EMPC has stations for pure drinking water, irrigation and sewage water treatment. All EMPC establishments are air conditioned (Central AC) and some of the administration offices are provided with split air conditioners.

• EMPC has a number of multi capacity reserve generating units.

• EMPC includes a communication network connecting all the studios and city establishments. Studios and technical centers leaseholders are provided with unlimited telephone lines whether local or administrative. There is also the possibility of using the internet and all modern communication technologies.

• EMPC is provided with a comprehensive network of automatic and manual fire distinguishing equipment plus two cars for speedy fire extinguishing.

• EMPC has a comprehensive medical center in addition to an ambulance.

• EMPC owns a whole fleet of various means of transportation all liable for lease.

INDUSTRIAL SAFETY SYSTEM

EMPC has:
An all-purpose alarm system covering all EMPC establishments.
An automatic fire extinguisher.
Fire extinguisher water pumps all around.

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL SERVICES

EMPC has its very own power generators, feeding its facilities, without relying on outside sources:
A 100 M/V/A-capacity, 66/22 K/V/A-stress, 50 cycle/second-frequency power generator.
Two 10 M/V/A-capacity, 22 K/V/A-stress, 50 cycle/second-frequency power distributor.
26 other small 22 K/V/A-capacity, 230 and 400 V/A-stress, 50 cycle/second-frequency feeders.

RESERVE GENERATORS

EMPC has other no-sound, mobile 100-, 200-, 250, 500-K/V/A-capacity, 400/230 volt-stress, 50 cycle-second electricity feeders, operationable anywhere in Egypt.

COMMUNICATIONS

EMPC has a complete communications system which includes:
A network linking all EMPC establishments.
A whole range of automatic exchanges.
Reserve telephone lines to cover EMPC needs.
