A NIGHT'S END
 
 

 

This series stresses the principle of Justice through "Rohayyem", the self-made upper Egyptian businessman. All through his life, he has been managing his father's business and after his death, he has borne the responsibility of raising-up his brothers and sisters. In his forties, "Rohayyem" falls in love with the beautiful singer "Hassanat". This love makes him realize the wonderful beauties and blessings of life. Therefore, he decides to marry her but this idea is totally rejected by his brothers and sisters, especially the one who works as a judge. From their point of view, this act will degrade the family forever. As a result, they threaten "Hassanat" to leave the town. Knowing what they have done, "Rohayyem" decides to punish them severely by refusing to give them their shares in their father's inheritance. He is totally convinced that he is the only one who deserves all these properties, as a return for his sacrifices and efforts. "Rohayyem" decides to search for his beloved everywhere, leaving his business and properties to be managed by his eldest son. Unfortunately, like father…like son, he too, refuses to give his uncles and aunts their inheritance, disobeying his father's will. At the end, the son is killed by an anonymous assassin. "Rohayyem", heart-broken, stands in court testifying that deeply down, he is the real killer as he has not taught his son how to be just and fair. "Rohhayem" after giving everybody their shares, dies peacefully beside both, his mother and his beloved.
