A two - part series that discusses intermingling relations among the
members of the "Gharabawy" family who fall under the power of greed
and love of money. "Assem", the son, wants to swallow up his
father's wealth. Falling under the pressure of his wife "Olfat", he
puts his father under guardianship, after proving that he was
mentally incompetent.
In part II, "Assem" returns to his father remorseful. "Olfat" is
under custody for forgery and many other crimes. As "Gharabawy"
wants to see his son powerful beside rich, he decides to nominate
him for the parliament elections. Unfortunately, "Assem" is
assassinated by the chief of one of the narcotics gangs. The
gangster tries to kill "Gharabawy" too, but, mistakenly, he kills "Olfat",
who has just got out of jail. By this end, Justice
prevails.
