Contemporary Egypt

This is the biography of the great Egyptian feminist "Hoda Sha'rawy".
At an early age, she was married to one of her relatives, Aly Sha'rawy, the same age of her father.

Patriotism was the only thing common between them and the only field her husband encouraged her to involve in.

During the first half of the 20th century, she managed to form "The Women's Union"
calling for Egypt Independence and Women's involvement in the political life through El- Wafd party.
