The movie shows a strong love affair between "Aly", the gypsy-like poet and innovator and his beloved "Lialy". Aly leaves his beloved with his two house-mates till he gets his mom' permission for their marriage, but unfortunately, they betray him and rape her. Consequently, the two lovers split.

The raping incident has reminded "Lialy" of her mom's betrayal to her dad and her father's sudden migration, as a result. "Lialy" runs away from everybody and out of a rash decision to punish herself, she decides to lead a life full of vice. Therefore, she works as a belly dancer in night clubs.
As for "Aly", he returns to the sea seeking solace. There, he notices Hanan's love for him and decides to rescue her from her racist enemies. At the very end, he succeeds in kicking them out of the boat.

Finally, the two lovers re-unite, forgetting everything about the past. They resume working together, making a great success in a play written by "Aly" and starred by "lialy".
