The Magic Land is the Middle East’s largest family recreation centre. A plus, along with the hotel, the conference rooms and the exhibition halls, to EMPC’s tourist activities, it is a place for both entertainment and culture and can be used as a location for the production of children’s programs, variety and other shows. It stretches over 160 thousand square meters with games to suit all visitors.
THE EGYPTIAN GATEWAY
It is a masterpiece of art which stands representing the major features of Egypt’s governorates. It also has, depicted, the country’s historical figureheads, whether in the past or at present. The formation as such, gives a true-to-life impression of the cohesion and unity of the Egyptian people.
THE MRS. MUBARAK INFORMATION CENTRE
It offers EMPC visitors, both young and old, a whole range of information accessible via Internet, multi-media or data bases.
THE AMPHITHEATRE
Of oriental design, it measures 17.6 thousand square meters and seats about 100 people. It has the spirit of the epic stories of The One Thousand and One Nights and so is a perfect location for shooting plays and entertainment shows.
TIME GATE SIMULATOR
A rotating stage, within the Egyptian Gateway, it carries the visitors to an exciting world across a time gate into outer space.
THE TRAFFIC CITY
Stretching over an area of 6500 square metres, the Traffic City’s purpose is to teach children traffic rules. It has miniature representations of roads, pavilions, public facilities, a bank, an oil station and shops.
BUMPER BOATS
Here, visitors have great fun riding boats that bump into each other in a 2000-square-metre lake.
THE RAPID RIVER
The world’s latest, it is a two-in-one fun game. At first, the boats, with the riders inside, rapidly slide down a 500-metre artificial river, with the forests, the waterfalls and the mountains seen on both its banks, and then they are raised by the force of a powerful wheel up to 14 meters high, to freely drop and speed away up to the terminal.
THE DOLPHINARIUM
It covers 7 thousand square metres in space and includes pools for dolphin and synchronised swimming shows. The Dolphinarium has places to use for underwater shooting. In addition to this, there are three are other pools. The first is on stand-by for emergencies, the second houses grayfish, and the third is for quarantine purposes. The Dolphinarium seats 1200 people.
THE DINOSAUR FOREST
The first of its kind in a recreation centre, it covers 7 thousand square metres in space. Riding a boat on a riverine across the forest, a visitor can have a glimpse into pre-history, with its now-extinct dinosaurs, birds and ape man all here. The sound effects accompanying the ride usually add to the fun. Visitors are also allowed free walks into the forest.
THE MAGIC PLATEAU
It is a huge recreational hall, with games for everyone, especially for children. It can also be used as an all-purpose plateau for shooting variety shows, films and concerts. It has several restaurants and shops.
