This movie is a psycho-political drama that unravels the corruption of a man in authority who gives himself up for the sake of power and position. As a result, he loses everything and suffers continuous restlessness and anxiety.

"Ra'afat" has assumed his ministerial post due to a slight mistake. Despite this, he is chased by nightmares every night. To avoid this problem, he tries to stop sleeping at night. But, to his surprise, he finds himself having nightmares day and night.

"Ra'afat" asks for help from "Attiya", his assistant and office manager, who advises him to see a psychiatrist. "Ra'afat" shuns the idea due its great risk on his position. As a result, "Attiya" goes instead to the psychiatrist and unravels the minister's secrets as if they are his own perhaps, they could find a solution.

Using the "Flashback" method, the minister's past is unraveled in an interesting manner. Since he has been in college, he used to write reports against his colleagues and gives them to the state security authorities. Even his wife, he has filed reports against her, the matter that leads to her imprisonment. When she knows the truth, she insists on having a divorce.

Suddenly, "Ra'fat" realizes the risk he is having by revealing almost all his secrets to "Attiya". Therefore, he decides to kill him in cold blood. "Ra'fat" has made up his mind. He has chosen power even if it is at the expense of his peace of mind. He has turned to a beast destroying everything and everybody standing in his way.
